ANCRESol is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to develop and promote computer-based tools for building a citizens’ Internet that is responsible and solidarity-based. ANCRESol works with individuals, nonprofit organizations, formal and informal networks and other non-commercial organizations.

ANCRESol aims to carry out its mission by:

• informing potentially interested users of the existence, quality and development of these tools;
• providing training in the use of these tools and encouraging participation in their development;
• managing the technical aspects of projects that use and develop the tools;

ANCRESol will make every effort, in all its activities, to use tools originating in the world of Open Source software.
